I just want to say a bit more about the seminary in Hong Kong, and share a few more pictures. As I said, it was founded in 1913, which means that it celebrated 100 years in 2013. They put together a lovely commemorative book, which included congratulatory letters from churches around the world (including the ELCA), as well as a chronology of events, lots of pictures and a list of all the faculty. It was fun seeing names I recognized on that list: Ted Peters, Shannon Jung, Walt Wangerin, Don Luck, and even our former student, Katrina Vigen, who taught English there from 2007-2009. It’s a beautiful school with a rich history–and it’s a school on a hill, just like Gettysburg!
