This tag line is the general descriptor for this post, because this is what I love about being a theologian–looking for connections in the world, and exploring the relationships that are constitutive of being: relationships between God, humanity and creation. I love God, and I love the world, and I live out of a place of great joy and optimism [most of the time!]. I also study Buddhism and have a great appreciation for many aspects of that tradition–you might even call it “Holy Envy.” This picture is of the Lantau Buddha in Hong Kong–I visited there two years ago, and it was amazing.
